PRESS RELEASE APPLIED RESEARCH NORTHWEST SENDS TWO EMPLOYEES TO WORKSHOP ON COMMUNITY BASED SOCIAL MARKETING Rebecca Cors and Rachel Williams, research analysts from Applied Research Northwest (ARN), attended the introductory and advanced workshops for Fostering Sustainable Behavior. The workshops were conducted by the founder of community-based social marketing, Dr. Doug McKenzie-Mohr. These workshops provided training on designing programs that encourage environmentally beneficial behaviors such as those involved in waste reduction, water and energy efficiency, watershed protection, pollution prevention or transportation changes. ARN is a social research firm based in Bellingham WA. ARN’s mission is to help non-profit and government agencies answer important questions to improve their work in the community. ARN’s services include telephone, internet and mail surveys, focus groups, polls and program evaluation. |
