Pamela Jull President Applied Research NW

Pamela M. Jull Ph.D., President
Dr. Pamela Jull, ARN’s co-founder and President, provides leadership, mentoring and technical advising for the ARN team. She is the key consultant, working directly with clients. With specialties in research methods, social policy, program evaluation and statistical analysis, she adds her wealth of experience to all aspects of research, including problem definition, project design, survey construction, focus group moderation, data analysis, and reporting. She is trained in Social Marketing practices and advises organizations in research and program design for behavior change projects.

Pamela has conducted, coordinated and directed program evaluations and survey research for Washington State schools, city and state government agencies, community non-profits, and health organizations. She has produced polls, community surveys, academic presentations and technical reports.

Pamela taught sociology and statistics and Western Washington University and directed the Office of Survey Research, providing assessment research for the university and Washington State. She received her Ph.D. in Sociology from Cornell University, Ithaca, NY.



Rachel Williams Research AnalystRachel Williams, M.A., Research Analyst
Rachel Williams brings extensive experience in online survey methodology, quantitative analysis and reporting to ARN. As a part of her role at ARN, Rachel consults with clients on questionnaire design, guides projects through data collection and oversees the analysis and writing of research reports.

Prior to ARN, Rachel worked in program evaluation with human service organizations and spent several years in market research with a focus on customer satisfaction. Rachel holds a Master’s degree in Social Psychology from the Claremont Graduate School in Claremont, CA.



Carol Lavoie PhotoCarol Lavoie, Project Manager
Carol Lavoie assists with the gathering and managing of information for the ARN team. She conducts interviews, oversees the administration of surveys, creates graphics for reports, maintains spreadsheets, handles data entry and coordinates mailings.

Carol has a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of New Hampshire, with further coursework in chemistry, law, music and computers at colleges in Arizona and Washington.
